What is this STAGE? why all the Sharks at SHARK TANK INDIA gave a big applause?

STAGE is a dialect based, hyperlocal entertainment platform (OTT Platform) for Indian users in their reginal language. In the form of comedy, Folk, Poetry and storytelling that also includes movies and web series. It aims to uplift the cultural roots of Bharat by providing premium and sensible dialect based content to young and adult audience.   It started in the year 2019 in Indore of Madhya Pradesh. Vinay Singhal, Parveen Singhal and Shashank Vaishnav are founders at STAGE. The company grabbed more attention when sharks at Shark Tank India expressed their applause towards the success story of Stage. Vinay and his team asked for INR 3 crore for 1 percent equity in their company, and none of the shark stepped back but invested in it.   Currently it has 225,000 subscribers across Haryana and Rajasthan, it is growing at 30 percent month to month. It has over 5,000 artists, uploading the content in dialects of Mewari, Harauti, Shkhawati, Bangaru and few more.   Recently company raised INR 40 crore in funding led by Blume Ventures. The company previously raised INR 31 crore. So the total capital raised has become INR 71 crore so far making the company value at INR 290 crore. Vinay Singal says "The capital raised will be used in deeper at Haryana and Rajasthan and create more original content". Also, he added that company plans to capture 10 percent of 25 million households watching video content alone in Haryana and Rajasthan by mid of 2024. By 2027 company plans to launch in the top 20 dialects of the country, that has a potential to reach 200 million+ households in India.  Founders have seen loss of INR 300 crore content startup WittyFeed overnight before coming to the STAGE. Shashank says "Most of our traffic was depending on Facebook with a majority of them coming from USA, approximately 60 million users from there. In Nov 2018 when Mark Zuckerberg got stuck in legal battles due to Cambridge Analytica and we got blocked, STAGE is our comeback".
